Recepie:
Ingedients:
- 1/2 cup (120ml) of an unsweetened milk of your choice
- 1 tsp of turmeric
- 1 small piece of grated fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp of ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder
- 1 pinch of ground black pepper
- 1 tsp of honey(preferred), sugar(refined or unrefined) (optional)
Directions:
Simply add all ingredients in a small saucepan or pot and bring to a boil to create the golden milk. Reduce the heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes, or until the mixture is fragrant and aromatic. Fill mugs halfway with the drink and a pinch of cinnamon.
Golden milk can also be made ahead of time and preserved for up to five days in the refrigerator. Until serving, simply reheat it.
